  • Express Your Personal Connection: Use your personal experience to describe why the place is your favourite. 
    • For example, I have been going there since I was a child. My father used to tell me stories about his childhood adventures near the riverside. Therefore, the place gives me mental peace whenever I want to be alone.

My favourite quiet place to spend time is the garden at our house. I spend a lot of time there thinking and creating new ideas.

Where it is

It is located at the back of our main house. It is a small place with a few varieties of flowers and a small swing chair. 

How did you find it

It is one of my favourite places in my house since I was a child. I used to go and sit there for hours after school. The place has secured a lot of my memories of childhood and adulthood. I often go there when I need a calm place to sit and relax. 

What do you do there?

I usually sit in the swing chair and relax. Sometimes, I read books, use my phone, do art and crafting, or simply watch the flowers peacefully. I like the calm environment of the garden as it is quite far away from the main road. Sometimes, I water the plant while listening to music.

The garden of the house has always been my favourite place as it makes me happy and gives me peace. The calm environment of the place helps me develop new ideas. The fragrance of different flowers boosts my mood and helps me relax and think.

Sample Answer:

A quiet place I really like to spend time in is the public library in my town. This is one of the most peaceful places that allows me to concentrate on my thoughts. 

Where it is

The library is located in the center of the town, around 10 minutes' walking distance from my house. It has over thirty thousand books of different genres.   

How did you find it

I first discovered the place in an inter-school exhibition organised by the library authorities. I was accompanied by my classmates and my teacher. From that day, I have often visited the library at least two to three times a week. 

What do you do there?

I visit the library to read books, journals, magazines, and newspapers. The library has over 30,000 books on Indian and world history, politics, scientific fiction, psychology, technology, and other genres. I like the calm environment of the place, which helps me concentrate and read peacefully. 

And explain why you like to spend time there

The library has a peaceful environment. It helps me focus better on my work. I have always enjoyed exploring new books and information. I often go there whenever I need to relax my mind and find a place to stay alone from other distractions.
