Revised CBSE Class 10 Board Exam Pattern 2024

To evaluate students' ability to apply concepts in practical settings, the board plans to introduce Competency Focused Education, which will include additional competency-based questions. There will be more application-based questions on the question paper for year-end board exams, whether they take the shape of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), case-based questions, source-based integrated questions, or any other format.

The expected changes are as follows:

• Competency Focused Questions in the form of MCQs/Case Based Questions, Source-based Integrated Questions, or any other type = 50%
• Select response type questions(MCQ) = 20%
• Constructed response questions (Short Answer/Long Answer type Questions, as per existing pattern) = 30%

Be prepared for the changed pattern. Also, adhere to the shared CBSE guidelines to experience a fair and organized CBSE 10th Exam experience.
