For candidates who are planning to take the PTE exam in India in 2025, the PTE test dates are available almost every day. The exam happens all year round at Pearson-authorised PTE centres across India. There are over 62 PTE test centres in India, so it is easy for most students to find a slot close to home. But do keep in mind that the availability of dates and time slots can change based on how many people are booking.

The common PTE exam time slots are usually like this: 8:00 AM, 10:15 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:15 PM, 2:45 PM, 3:30 PM, 5:00 PM, and 7:15 PM. But again, these can fill up fast. So, it is better to book your PTE exam early.

To see what dates are open, you have to go to the official PTE website. You can enter your city name, and the site will show you nearby test centres. If your city doesn't have a centre, you will need to book one in a nearby location. But be careful while selecting, sometimes the website shows centres in Bangladesh or Nepal if you are close to the border. Make sure you are choosing the right one within India.

• Visit the test centre a day before your exam, so you don’t get lost or arrive late.
• Reach the test centre at least 30 minutes early on the exam day.
• PTE Academic Online (home version) is not available anymore. You can only take the exam at official test centres.

PTE Late Booking Fee 2025

How to Cancel or Reschedule PTE Exam?

Sometimes your plan may change or something urgent may come up. In that case, you don’t need to worry. You can easily cancel or reschedule your PTE exam from your myPTE account. Just go to the official PTE website, log in, find your booking, and click on either ‘Cancel’ or ‘Reschedule’. Follow the steps shown on screen. But remember, depending on how early or late you make the changes, you may have to pay extra charges or get less refund.

PTE Exam Cancellation Fees

If you want to cancel your PTE exam, you can get a full or partial refund. If you cancel 14 days or more before your test, you will get a full refund. If you cancel between 7 to 13 days, you will get 50% refund. But if you cancel less than 7 days before the test, you will not get any refund at all. The refund will be sent to your original payment method, so it is always better to cancel early if needed.

PTE Rescheduling Fees

You can also reschedule your PTE exam date if you can not take the test on the original date. If you do this 14 days or more in advance, there is no extra fee. But if you reschedule between 7 to 13 days before the exam, you have to pay 50% of the test fee again. If you try to reschedule less than 7 days before the test, it is not allowed.
