What is Data Science?

To put in simple terms, Data Science is a combination of mathematics, programming, statistics, data analysis, and machine learning. By combining all these, Data Science uses advanced algorithms and scientific methods to extract information and insights from large datasets – both structured and unstructured. Before the digital revolution came into being, the data at our disposal was mostly structured and relatively small in size.
