Admission Eligibility Criteria

Freshman

• Admission to the undergraduate program of Shepherd University typically requires a 3.6 grade point average or above in high school. 
• Students must secure a combined SAT score of 1200 or higher.
• If ACT has been taken for admission, the student must secure 25 or higher.
• Lower standardised test scores are often offset by a higher GPA and vice versa. 

Graduate

• Applicants seeking admission to the graduate school of Shepherd University must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution. 
• The applicant must have either earned a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 in previous undergraduate coursework or at least a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 in the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework. 
• GRE and GMAT test scores may be required in some cases.
