The application fee for undergraduates is $50, and for postgraduates it is $70. The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has a rolling application process and an open admissions policy. The 200-acre campus of the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology is situated in the Terre Haute suburb of Indiana. The Institute provides its students with round-the-clock safety and security services. Housing in apartment residence halls and Percopo residence halls costs $11,352 for a double room and $15,480 for a single.

The housing fees are calculated using the housing rate for upperclassmen. The student is charged a price per credit hour. When a student enrolls in 19 or more credits per term, an overload per-credit-hour fee is applied. Course fees for the summer session are calculated per credit hour.

The cost of student accident insurance is $899 per academic year. Fee breakdown each quarter: Fall $234, Winter $243, and Spring $422. The following summer months are covered by the spring insurance premium. International students are not permitted to waive the insurance charge; domestic students have the opportunity to do so by filing a waiver.

The Rose-Hulman Merit Scholarship, which is offered to students based on a range of qualities both academic and non-academic, is automatically considered for all accepted students. The awards are decided based on two factors:

• Academic Measure: These include your test results, class size and rank (if relevant), and the caliber of the high school curriculum you chose.
• Non-academic Measures: These often center on extracurricular pursuits, leadership, and volunteer work, but they are not restricted to these. Because Rose-Hulman competes in NCAA Division III, pre- or post-enrollment athletic participation is not taken into account when deciding who gets a scholarship.
