History of University of Freiburg

The university was founded in the year 1457, with the goal to offer education to all. It became the very first university in Germany that gave admission to females. There was no German university before this that had accepted the application from women students. There were several buildings and campuses that were built, out of which the center of Freiburg was the main building that was built in the year 1911.

English Language Examination: The University of Freiburg requires an entrance examination in terms of an English language proficiency test to test the proficiency in the English language among non-native English speakers.
