About the University of Jyväskylä

University of Jyväskylä Admission 2026

The admission process starts in January of every year. To apply, students can fill out the application form at Studyinfo.fi during the application period. 

You can apply for a higher education degree program in Finland in two ways. You can fill in a joint application or a separate application. There is no application fee.

Scholarship at the University of Jyväskylä 

The University of Jyväskylä offers scholarships to one international Master's degree program that covers 100% of the tuition fee. The student also gets relocation grants.

It also includes a one-time relocation grant of €5000. Another accepted applicant will receive a scholarship covering 50% of the tuition fee.

JYU Scholarship	This scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fee. The students get the scholarship for the first year, and for the second year, they have to maintain a score of a minimum of 55 ECTS credits.
Finland Scholarship	The Finland Scholarship is awarded to the students who have received high merit in the Master's program. This scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fee for the first year.
Scholarship Based on Humanitarian Reasons in Student	This scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fees and is granted to students on humanitarian grounds.
