DCU improves year-on-year in the QS World University Rankings, as its rank improves from 436 in 2024, to 421 in 2026, and to 410 in 2026, which indicates a favourable trajectory and consistent position in terms of international recognition and visibility of research outputs.  

As part of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, DCU ranked consistent with its the previous year when it was ranked within the 401-500 band in 2024; in 2026 it ranked within the 351-400 band, which reflects corresponding improvement in the pillars of performance; the result for 2026 is not available as yet.
