With more and more businesses going “Digital” to be better connected with their customer bases, many marketers would find themselves needing to understand the world of digital. While there are courses featuring how-to programs by practitioners, and others taught by professors, one can rarely find a course that offers both.
Recognizing the fast pace at which technologies and knowledge change, we at UpGrad identified that both conceptual and real-world knowledge is essential to educating future leaders in this digital age. Therefore, we started conversations with leading faculty at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School and brought in industry leaders from all around the world to produce a program in Strategic Digital Marketing.

Which is better between an online and offline PG certification?
Although your final decision of choosing a program should depend on your individual circumstances, there are certain factors you should keep in mind while making the choice between the two. It is recommended to research the scope, average fees, duration, and location of the program you’re interested in and check to see if it would be compatible with your preferences. Generally, online programs could prove to be less expensive in comparison. Owing to their flexible nature, they could also afford you a chance to gain work experience while you might still be pursuing your course.
Is marketing a good major to pursue during post-graduation?
Over the recent years, the scope after specialization in marketing has greatly widened. With recent advancements in technology, marketing strategies have greatly evolved to meet the current demand of a tech-savvy world. Future growth prospects and job opportunities continue to flourish in this domain. Equipping yourself with a certification or degree in this field can help you stand out from the crowd in front of employers. It is important to note here, though, that your choice of major should depend on the basis of many other factors as well such as your interest, past work experience, and background.
How can I make the most of an online certification program?
Certifications and degrees are important investments for your future and career growth. Therefore, it is advisable to make optimal use of the learning opportunities as well as the networking possibilities that may present themselves during the duration of your course. This will allow you to increase the scope of your network and help you gain access to never-before opportunities. Keeping an open and inquisitive mind will also help you in exploring multiple potentialities. Lastly, you should always be on the lookout for new and exciting opportunities that would help you to gain valuable exposure in your field of choice.
