The Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design admission process is easy. You will have to go through the following steps:

Exam Requirements For RMCAD

You need to take either the ACT or SAT to put forward your application to RMCAD. More importantly, your performance matters for a strong application. The average GPA is 3.15 and the college requires a GPA score. To be on the safe side, strive for a 3.31 GPA. 

The average SAT score is 1300, and the average ACT needed is 31. To get admitted into RMCAD students have to complete IELTS scoring a minimum of 6. The TOEFL requirement is 75, and for GMAT it is 590.

The campus is spread across almost 60 park-type acres within a residential portion of Billings. Trees and perennials enhance the greenery of the campus and make it welcoming for the 1,000 admitted students.

Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design campus covers 23 acres and has the title of National Historic District. There are 17 structures on the campus, of which 11 are marked for classrooms and general areas.  There are also different support spaces such as studio areas and four galleries. The campus is situated in Lakewood, Colorado, and lies between Denver city and the Front Range mountains in Colorado.

Philip J. Steele Gallery comprises the biggest on-campus gallery, the Rude Gallery is more of a private area within the Rude Building. The student gallery is present inside the EPIC building, and the Alumni Gallery is housed at the Texas building entrance.

Accommodation

RMCAD students select Assembly Student Living (previously The Regency). It is situated approximately twenty minutes from the campus, near Downtown Denver. The institution provides chargeless transport between the campus and the Assembly. Auraria Student Lofts is situated at the center of Downtown Denver and is a twenty-minute ride to the campus.

RMCAD offers various scholarships for students attending college and scope for earning institutional scholarships. Some of the Scholarships provided are:

• Academic Achievement Scholarship to incoming students having a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 or more on a scale of 4.0
• Artistic Aptitude Scholarship to new students on the basis of their meritorious admissions portfolio
• Best of Colorado Scholarships for highly creative seniors of Colorado high school graduating in 2023.
• Partners in Success Scholarship awarded to new transfer students having degrees in Associate in Arts or Associate in Applied Science from RMCAD’s partner schools. The amount awarded for on campus as well as online is $500 for graduating semester. 

In addition, there are National Portfolio Day Scholarships, and Alumni Scholarships for those who graduated with a bachelor’s from RMCAD and are looking for a second degree.
