My favourite weather is the rainy season, especially when it’s just light drizzling with a cool breeze in the air. There’s something magical about that atmosphere, it instantly lifts my mood and makes everything feel calm and peaceful. This type of weather usually comes around June or July in my city, and it stays for a few months, on and off.

Whenever it rains like that, I love sitting by the window with a cup of tea and some hot snacks like pakoras. Sometimes I even play soft music in the background, it just sets the perfect vibe. If I’m not home, I enjoy going for a short walk with an umbrella, just to feel the freshness in the air.

I think I like it so much because it brings back childhood memories. I remember skipping school sometimes just to stay home, watch cartoons, and hear the sound of raindrops on the roof. Also, I find that my creativity flows more in this weather; I write better and think more clearly. It’s like the world slows down a little, and I get to breathe.

Honestly, my favourite weather is that perfect winter morning when it’s chilly but the sun is out. It usually happens around December in my hometown. The sky is clear, the air feels crisp, and everything looks more alive in that soft golden sunlight.

On days like that, I love waking up a bit early, wrapping myself in a warm hoodie, and sitting outside with a blanket and a cup of coffee. Sometimes I even go for a short jog or just walk to the nearby park. People seem happier in this kind of weather, kids are playing, uncles are reading newspapers in the sun, and there’s that comforting smell of wood smoke in the air.

The reason I like this weather so much is that it feels balanced, not too cold, not too hot. It’s the kind of day when I feel the most productive. Plus, winter mornings somehow bring a sense of stillness that helps me slow down and enjoy small moments, like watching birds or listening to old songs. It’s peaceful and refreshing at the same time.

One of my favourite types of weather is spring, especially the way it feels during the early months of March and April. It’s the kind of weather that feels neither too hot nor too cold—just that perfect balance where everything around seems to come back to life.

Spring usually occurs right after winter ends, and honestly, it brings a lot of relief. The mornings are crisp but gentle, the afternoons are sunny but not sweaty, and there’s often a soft breeze that makes everything feel calm. I personally love how the flowers start blooming, the trees turn green again, and there’s a sense of freshness in the air.

During this weather, I try to spend more time outside. I go for long walks in the park, sometimes sit on a bench with a book, or just enjoy a cup of coffee at an outdoor café. It’s also a great time to travel, especially to hill stations or countryside areas where nature looks absolutely beautiful in spring.

What I really like about this weather is how refreshing and hopeful it feels. It somehow lifts my mood. After the dull greyness of winter, spring feels like a reset button. Everything looks prettier, even normal roads and neighbourhoods seem brighter. Plus, the temperature is just ideal—it doesn’t make me tired or lazy like summer or too bundled up like winter.

Spring is also the time when a lot of festivals happen in India, like Holi, which adds to the cheerful atmosphere. People wear colourful clothes, there’s laughter, music, and everything seems more alive.

All in all, spring is that one season that brings comfort, beauty, and good vibes all at once—and that’s exactly why it’s my favourite kind of weather.
