Washington State University Admission Process

The admissions process at Washington State University usually begins in the Fall, preceding the academic year for which you are applying. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, so there is no set deadline for submitting one. However, it is recommended that students apply as soon as possible to have the best chance of being accepted into the program of their choice. Students must apply online and pay a non-refundable application fee of $75 for domestic students and $90 for international students to be considered. A personal statement, academic transcripts, and standardized test scores (such as the SAT or ACT for undergraduate students or the GRE or GMAT for graduate students) are included in the application.

International students may also be required to submit English proficiency test results, such as the TOEFL or IELTS. After receiving and reviewing all application materials, the admissions committee will decide whether or not to admit the student. Accepted students must then confirm their enrollment and pay a non-refundable deposit to secure their spot in the program.
