North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University's ranking in the 2024 edition of Best Colleges is National Universities, #280. It is ranked #7 in Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and #151 in Top Public Schools.

The admissions application must be sent together with a $60 non-refundable application fee. 

With a 56% acceptance rate, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NCAT) admissions are rather difficult. There are 3,342 international students enrolled at the university. The university accepts applications in the Fall and Spring semesters from prospective students. The University of North Carolina System's admissions policy, which NCAT abides by, limits the proportion of out-of-state applicants to 25% of the freshman class.

Exam Requirements for North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University

In addition to the usual admission standards, international applicants who wish to enroll at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University must also meet extra criteria. The main campus of North Carolina A&T, also known as "Aggieland," is situated about nine blocks east of Greensboro's downtown. N.C. A&T has extended its facilities in response to the university's expanding student body, most notably with the creation of the Student Centre, a 150,000-square-foot building that includes student organizations, eating options, gaming rooms, a ballroom, and more. The $90-million Harold L. Martin Sr. Engineering Research and Innovation Complex will increase the university's renowned College of Engineering's teaching and research capabilities.

International students can afford to study in the USA thanks to scholarships provided by North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. However, financial help, loans, and grants are not available to international students.

• Both in the United States and in their native country, private organizations offer scholarships to international students.
• For international students, the institution provides several department-specific scholarships.
• Graduate student assistantships are also available to international students.

Although North Carolina A&T provides several scholarships to its students, international students are not eligible for grants, loans, or need-based help. Federal and state financial help is only available to students who are U.S. citizens or qualifying foreign nationals.

Full Ride Scholarships are an example of the Alumni Association's commitment to helping the university draw top candidates. This scholarship is renewable for four (4) years as long as the students complete the yearly requirements and covers the full cost of tuition, associated fees, lodging, board, and books.
