MCI-Approved Medical Colleges in China 

The Medical Council of India (MCI) (now National Medical Commission, or NMC) previously used to provide a list of approved foreign medical institutions for applicants. However, this is no longer done by the organization. 

FMGE for Indian Students Studying MBBS from China 

There is a universally-recognized screening test or the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Exam) for those who have done an MBBS in China or other foreign countries if they wish to practice in India. Students should register with their respective State Medical Councils or SMCs for this purpose. 

These bodies can only register students who have passed the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) which is held by the National Board of Examination (NBE). The examination is held in June and December each year while being completely computer-based.
