Latest update: IIT Delhi 2024-25 recorded 1,200+ job offers, including pre-placement offers, with 1,150 unique students placed. The B.Tech UG batch alone secured 850 unique job offers, marking the highest placement in the past three years.

1. Pre‑Final Year Internship Highlights

• Internships are offered during the Summer after the 3rd year.
• Students of the B.Tech. and Dual Degree Program (IDD) can opt in. Practical training or summer internship.

• Summer Internship/ Practical Training will be for 40 working days.

Placement Process: At IIT Delhi, the placement process is jointly managed by the Office of Career Services (OCS) and the Training & Placement Cell. The process kicks off in the pre-final year and follows a well-organised flow, starting with:

A. Pre-Placement Talks

In pre-placement talks, companies introduce their company's policy

• Job roles and salary
• Pre-Placement Talk begins in August or October for final-year students
• Understand the criteria before applying via the Internal portal

B. Application & Shortlisting

For the placement, students can go and check the Placement Portal and move forward with the requirements

• Submit Resumes and Portfolios if required
• The Shortlisting Process is based on CGPA, Cutoffs, and Aptitude Test

C. Interview Rounds

The interview rounds at IIT Roorkee mostly happen in December
