MBA degree from Paris School of Business + PSB Executive Alumni Status

Paris School of Business is a Triple Crown accredited institution (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS), and the MBA degree awarded is recognised globally. IIM Lucknow, ranked 5th in the NIRF Management Rankings 2026, delivers a curriculum covering strategy, finance, AI, and leadership.

Why an MBA from PSB with IIML Certification Matters in 2026?

Postgraduate management qualifications are increasingly becoming a baseline requirement rather than a differentiator at senior levels. According to GMAC (2024), 68% of senior leadership roles globally specify a postgraduate qualification as a prerequisite before a candidate is even considered. Separately, data reported by the Times of India (2021) shows MBA holders in India earning a 77% higher median salary than graduates without the qualification.

This shift makes the choice of which MBA, and from which institutions, increasingly consequential.

A few reasons this particular combination is relevant heading into 2026:

  1. Institutional weight that precedes you. Both IIM Lucknow and Paris School of Business are Triple Crown accredited, a distinction held by fewer than 150 of the world's roughly 15,000 business schools, across all three of AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS. IIM Lucknow is one of only three IIMs to hold all three simultaneously.
  1. A curriculum built around where business is heading, not where it has been. The program's four academic pillars (Global Strategy & Market Leadership, Financial Leadership & Business Growth, AI, Digital and Intelligent Transformation, and Board Leadership & Corporate Governance) reflect the shifts already reshaping senior decision-making: geopolitical uncertainty, AI-driven transformation, and governance accountability chief among them.
  1. A genuinely global frame of reference. Paris School of Business is home to students from over 80 nationalities, and its curriculum is designed to international standards rather than adapted from a domestic program. For professionals whose responsibilities are expanding beyond a single market, this matters more in 2026 than it did a decade ago.
  1. A selective, senior peer group. Admission is selective, meaning the professionals in every cohort have cleared the same bar, turning the learning experience into a peer network, not just a classroom.

The PSB MBA on upGrad combines international academic standards with the flexibility of online learning, enabling professionals to pursue an MBA without taking a career break.

Who Can Pursue the Master of Business Administration from Paris School of Business with IIM Lucknow Certification?

The Master of Business Administration from Paris School of Business with IIM Lucknow Certification is designed for ambitious working professionals who want to strengthen their business acumen without taking a career break.

Whether you are preparing for your next leadership role, expanding your cross-functional expertise, or looking to gain a globally relevant management education, this program offers the flexibility to learn alongside a full-time job.

This program is particularly suited for:

  1. Mid-career professionals seeking structured management education to prepare for leadership and strategic decision-making roles.
  1. Functional managers and team leads who want to broaden their understanding of finance, strategy, operations, marketing, and organisational leadership.
  1. Business owners and entrepreneurs looking to scale their ventures with stronger managerial, financial, and strategic capabilities.
  1. Professionals leading digital transformation or AI initiatives who want to complement technical expertise with business leadership skills.
  1. Individuals aspiring to work in global business environments and gain exposure to international management practices while studying online.
  1. Professionals planning a career transition into consulting, product management, business strategy, or general management roles.

Eligibility Criteria: The Two Routes, Explained

Admission to the MBA from Paris School of Business with IIM Lucknow Certification program runs through two eligibility routes.

  • Route 1: A standard 3-year bachelor's degree, plus a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. This is the more common route for learners coming straight from an undergraduate degree into the workforce without a master's in between.
  • Route 2: A 4-year bachelor's degree, combined with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.

Curriculum and Syllabus: How the Two Phases Fit Together

The PSB MBA syllabus follows a structured two-phase approach, beginning with the IIM Lucknow phase and progressing to Paris School of Business's globally focused curriculum, specialisations, and a hands-on capstone project. Together, the two phases provide a comprehensive learning experience across essential management concepts and advanced business topics.

Phase 1 (IIM Lucknow, 4 months) focuses on building management capabilities, through four courses:

  • Corporate Strategy & Business Model Design
  • Strategic Financial Reporting & Communication
  • Executive Decision-Making with Data & AI
  • Leading Transformations & Organisational Dynamics

bring every learner to a common baseline in strategy, finance, data-driven decision-making, and change leadership before PSB's curriculum assumes that baseline exists.

Phase 2 (PSB, 14 months) is where the four academic pillars are built out across 10 full courses:

  • Geopolitical Risks & Strategic Decision-Making
  • Macroeconomics and Uncertainty
  • Capital Allocation, Valuation & Mergers
  • Operations, Scaling & Operating Models
  • Marketing Strategy & Growth
  • Pricing Strategies and Unit Economics
  • Digital Strategy & Information Systems
  • Innovation & Strategic Renewal
  • International Strategy & Market Entry
  • ESG, Long-Term Value & Reputation Leadership

The subject progression follows an outward-to-upward logic. It begins with understanding the external environment (geopolitical risk and macroeconomics), moves into core commercial skills (valuation, M&A, operations, pricing, marketing, and digital strategy), and concludes with innovation and governance, two subjects that become increasingly relevant as professionals move into senior leadership or board-adjacent roles.

Choose the Specialisation

The program builds specialisations on top of the core curriculum rather than replacing it. Every learner completes all 14 core courses; after that, they can choose any 2 out of 5 available specialisations. The course duration of each specialisation is about a month. The available specialisations include:

  • Strategic Leadership
  • AI and Technology
  • Finance
  • Marketing
  • Operations and Supply Chain

Capstone Project: CEO Challenge Project

The program concludes with the CEO Challenge Project, where learners solve a real strategic challenge from their own organisation. This hands-on capstone helps them apply what they have learned to real business problems, making the PSB MBA practical and industry-focused rather than purely academic.

How to Apply: Step by Step

The application process for this PSB MBA online program runs across three stages. Here's what to actually prepare for each one.

Step 1: Document collection and application. Before starting the form, have ready:

  • Updated CV
  • Education documents (degree certificates and mark sheets for the qualifying degree)
  • Work experience proof (offer letters, relieving letters, or an HR-attested experience certificate covering the minimum required years)
  • Statement of Purpose (SOP)
  • Completed PSB Application Form

Step 2: Document verification and seat block. Once submitted, PSB reviews the documents against the eligibility route the candidate has applied under. A provisional offer letter follows, with a payment link to block the seat. Final enrolment is confirmed only after all admission requirements have been fulfilled.

Step 3: Onboarding interview and confirmation. A self-recorded video interview goes to PSB as the final evaluation step. This isn't a live panel interview, so candidates can prepare and re-record before submission. Once PSB confirms, the enrolment is finalised, and the candidate receives onboarding details of IIM Lucknow and PSB courses.

The PSB MBA program fee starts at ₹6,80,000 (inclusive of taxes) for the online program. Learners who wish to attend the optional 7-day Paris immersion can opt for the immersion package. upGrad also offers flexible payment plans and EMI options to help working professionals manage the program cost.

Top Reasons to Enrol in an MBA from Paris School of Business with IIM Lucknow Certification

The PSB MBA on upGrad combines the academic excellence of Paris School of Business and IIM Lucknow with a flexible online learning experience designed for modern professionals.

  1. It's the same curriculum as PSB's full-time, on-campus MBA. This is the single most important trust signal: the PSB MBA course delivered here mirrors PSB's full-time, on-campus MBA in Paris in curriculum and academic standards. It is not a diluted or online-exclusive variant built separately for international markets.
  1. Global recognition that matters in practice. The MBA degree awarded by Paris School of Business benefits from the institution's Triple Crown accreditation (AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS), reflecting internationally recognised standards of business education.
  1. Two credentials, two institutions, and one program. Graduates earn an Executive Program Certificate from IIM Lucknow and a full MBA degree from Paris School of Business, along with PSB Executive Alumni Status, combining domestic and international recognition.
  1. Choice of specialisation across five modern tracks. Students choose two specialisations from Strategic Leadership, AI & Technology, Finance, Marketing, and Operations & Supply Chain, allowing the second phase of the MBA to be shaped around individual career direction.
  1. Live faculty access from both institutions. Every IIM Lucknow session in Phase 1 is delivered 100% live. Phase 2 combines live and recorded sessions from PSB faculty and industry experts, ensuring direct access to faculty throughout the Program rather than only in the foundation phase.
  1. A Paris immersion with an on-campus degree conferral. The Program includes a 7-day immersion in Paris, with accommodation, meals, academic sessions, a city tour, and an alumni meetup included. Graduates receive their MBA degree at a formal conferral ceremony on campus at PSB, not as a digital certificate.
  1. A capstone built around your own organisation. The program concludes with a CEO Challenge Project, a strategic deliverable built around the participant's own organisation and context, designed to be immediately usable rather than a theoretical case study.
  1. PSB Executive Alumni Status on graduation. Graduates join a global alumni network of 22,000+ across 80+ nationalities, with access to an alumni portal, networking events, lifetime access to PSB's academic library and research databases, and invitations to PSB workshops and faculty events.
  1. Designed for career transitions, not just credential-building. The program is structured around preparing graduates for roles in executive and strategic management, strategy and consulting, business development and project leadership, product and business unit leadership, entrepreneurial roles, and digital transformation and AI leadership.
