IIIT Una Placements 2024-25: Key Highlights

Did you know? IIIT Una provides a full-time semester internship to B.Tech students in the 6^th Semester for a minimum period of five months to give practical industry experience and training before the placement process.  

IIIT Una, the Institute of National Importance, located in Himachal Pradesh, India, was established in the year 2014 with the mission to deliver quality education to students with practical orientation, collaboration with industry, and research organizations to address relevant issues.  

The Career Development Cell (CDC) of the Indian Institute of Information Technology Una is facilitating this mission to life by coordinating placement support and becoming a vital link between the top-tier recruiters and students. It offers several internship opportunities for advanced careers of the students.  

The IIIT Una Placements or CDC is able to provide opportunities to students with some top recruiters like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, Twitter, IBM, etc.

In the ongoing 2024-25 IIIT Una placements, the students are showing strong interest in the variety of job roles offered in Information Technology, Core and Consulting from top recruiters. The institute provided excellent results with students receiving packages from reputable companies.

The IIIT Una Placements process starts with inviting the companies for Job Notification Forms (JNF). Then, aftrer the application resume shortlisting will be done, and pre-placement talks will be scheduled with interviews. This process is coordinated well by the CDC of IIIT Una.  

Key Placement Process at IIIT Una: 

1. Invitation to Companies: The Career Development Cell of IIIT Una will send invitations and the Job Notification Form (JNF) to the companies.   

2. Sharing Job Details: A notification will be sent to all eligible students with details about the organization/company and job offer to apply.  

3. Student Applications: The CDC will share the applications of the interested students with the organization, along with resumes.  

4. Assessment & Interviews: Companies will conduct assessments and/or interviews (on campus or online) in accordance with their own recruitment process. 

5. Selection list: Organizations are required to submit the selected students list by the given deadline.  

6. Offer Letter: The CDC coordinates the signing of offer letters and provides further assistance if required.
