1. How can I get admission into IIT Goa after Class 12?

To be accepted to IIT Goa post Class 12, you must first clear the JEE Main, followed by an appearance in JEE Advanced. IIT Goa performs admissions through the admissions conducted by JoSAA counselling. You must fulfill the eligibility requirements and meet branch-specific cutoffs. 

2. What is the minimum JEE Advanced rank required for IIT Goa?

For popular branches like Computer Science Engineering (CSE), a general category student needs to get an excellent rank. Different branches may have higher cutoff ranks based on demand and seat intake. 

3. What is the admission process for M.Tech at IIT Goa?

M.Tech programmes are admitted based on GATE scores, which is then followed by centralized COAP counselling. The student selection process carried out by certain departments involves the use of a written test or interview before final selection, particularly for research-based programmes.

4. Does IIT Goa accept international students?

Yes, IIT Goa enrolls international students via DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad), ICCR scholarships, and the Study in India program. Most of these students are NOT subject to JEE/GATE requirements.
