Banaras Hindu University (BHU) offers financial assistance and scholarships to meritorious and needy students. Here are some of the scholarships offered by BHU: 

  • Blind students: Blind students are offered free lunch and dinner under the Annadaan Yojna. In addition, 20 blind students receive a scholarship of INR 5,000 per annum each. 
  • Top rank holders: Students who secure first and second ranks in their respective examinations are awarded a scholarship of INR 4,000 and INR 3,000, respectively. 
  • Students from economically weak backgrounds: 100 students coming from economically weak backgrounds are granted a scholarship of INR 2,000 per annum. 
  • Pyare Lal - Prem Vati Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship worth INR 10,000 is awarded to the student enrolled in the MBA programme who tops the first-year exams. 
  • S.N. Ranade Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to the academically best students enrolled in the MBA Agri-Business programme.

1How can I get admission into BHU after Class 12?

For undergraduate programs like BA (Hons) in Foreign Languages or Integrated B.Sc.–M.Sc. courses, students must appear for CUET-UG. 9What is the eligibility for MCA admission at BHU?
