A non-refundable application fee of $75 must be submitted to the University. 

• Completed the Common Application with an essay or the UMass Boston Web
• Application Expense: $60 *fee waivers accepted
• High school diploma or a certificate of high school equivalence (GED, HiSET, etc.).
• A high school transcript that is still being completed must list grades 9 through 11 and senior year courses that are still being completed. Senior grades may be submitted as they become available but may not initially be taken into consideration. High school graduates who are first-year students must present an official, final high school transcript that includes their graduation date.
• Scores on the SAT or ACT, unless you choose the No Test Option. 

Letter of recommendation from a school-based counsellor or educator must be submitted to the University by the applicants. English language proficiency for those who are not native speakers.
