Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) M.A. Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University Course Admissions are provided on a merit basis. The institute offers 1 specialisation under M.A. English is one of the best specialisations. The institute is renowned for over 30 programmes under its Distance Education programme. In addition, the institute has ICT-enabled PG courses. The Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University Course Admissions procedure for these programmes varies.

  • For any UG programme, an applicant is chosen on merit or on scores obtained in the last qualifying test.
  • For MBA, admission is provided by qualifying either MAT or KKHSOU-CET.
  • For other PG courses, the admission of a candidate is considered on merit.
  • Admission to Ph.D and MPhil is through the scores obtained in UGC-NET or SET or JRF or KKHSOU-CET. The candidates will be selected based on marks secured in the entrance examination and performance in PI.

  • Step 1: Create ABC ID

You require an ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credit) according to UGC guidelines to apply. You can generate it via the Digilocker on the admission portal by pressing "Click to Start." Moreover, you'll require your Aadhaar, PAN, or Driving License.

If you already possess an ABC ID, move to Step 2.

  • Step 2: Create UGC DEB ID

After creating your ABC ID, you need to create a UGC DEB ID on the portal. This is a one-time permanent ID for any open/distance/online course.

If you already possess it, simply put it in and press "Get Your Details." Verify if your details are accurate, then press "Click to Register."

  • Step 3: Get Login Credentials

After registration, you'll receive a Username and Password on your phone and email. Use them to log in to the admission portal.

If you have forgotten the credentials, click "Forgot Password."

  • Step 4: Fill Application Form

Once logged in:

- Insert personal details

- Choose your program and other information

- Upload documents

- Preview and pay the fee online

- Download receipt after successful payment
