Fact: In IIT Roorkee's 2025 Phase 1 placements, most offers were for Software Development roles (201 offers from 60 companies). PM/Consulting, Core Engineering, and Data roles followed with 113, 92, and 70 offers, respectively. Overall, 742 offers were made, including 222 PPOs, by 163 recruiters.

IIT Roorkee witnessed an exceptional placement season in 2024, with students receiving offers from top global companies such as Google, Amazon, Adobe, and Microsoft. Notably, US-based software firm Databricks offered the highest international package of ₹2.05 crores per annum. The average CTC stood at ₹19.74 LPA, highlighting strong demand across both B.Tech and M.Tech streams.

The 2024–25 Phase 1 placement season at IIT Roorkee proved especially successful for B.Tech students, particularly those from the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branches.

The average CTC for CSE stood at an impressive ₹34.05 LPA, while ECE students secured an average of ₹30.81 LPA. The institute also witnessed a remarkable 742 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs), reflecting strong industry interest.

Year after year, branches like CSE, ECE, and Electrical Engineering (EE) continue to attract the highest average packages, reaffirming their consistent performance and demand among top recruiters.
