What was covered in class: The class required us to analyse and interpret written material in order to compare, contrast, and discuss elements such as theme, characters, and plot. We were divided into four-student teams, and the teacher then quizzed us on grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, among other things. 

When did you attend the class: When I was in school in 2018, there was a substitute teacher named Ms Preeta who came to our class for only one day but left an indelible impression on us.

What did the English teacher do that you liked: Ms Preeta had planned a slew of fun activities for us because it was a review day rather than a new English lesson. This created a positive and energising atmosphere in the classroom. We were able to learn new topics while playing quizzes and reviewing previous vocabulary and grammar by reading different literature.

Introduction: Most countries do not speak English as their first language. As a result, people enrol in training or classes to learn this language. My mother tongue is Hindi, and I am from India. I learned English as a child. I'd like to talk about one of the English classes that I really enjoyed.

What was covered in class: I am fluent in English but only when writing; however, I have always felt awkward when speaking, so I enrolled in public speaking classes. The language instructor was from Kerala. His command of the English language was exceptional. He always explained everything about the topic (tenses, vocabulary) before speaking.

When did you attend the class: I was free for about two months after the twelfth class. My family suggested that I take English classes. As a result, some of my friends and I decided to enrol in English classes. I live in a small village. So, because I joined that institute in the city, I had to travel every day to attend a class.

What did the English teacher do that you liked: He mostly used the projector to deliver his presentation, and he always sent every presentation to the students' email after class. Furthermore, he began with simple and easy sentences that any student could easily speak. He used to add some vocabulary words in the speaking paragraph at the end of the class.

Learning English for the first time can be an overwhelming experience. I still remember one of the most unique English learning experiences in my childhood. Learning to speak fluent English in class was a memorable experience that I really enjoyed.

As an Indian student, I was only proficient in my native language Hindi. Despite the fact that I have been learning English basics since a child, it was never before that I had ever spoken a fluent sentence. That day in my English was a memorable one since I was about to speak an entire sentence in English for the first time.

I was in standard 1st, and it was just 10 days when the session had begun. My teacher was already preparing us to speak complete fluent sentences in English. After revising the basics, I was sitting in the class and waiting for my turn to speak English fluently for the very first as the others did when their turn came.

The English teacher distributed books that contained small and basic English sentences that were preferably the best way to help students learn English. Additionally, she also made students speak a few sentences by breaking them into smaller parts. This helped us get motivated and prepare our own first sentences in English.

In my junior year, I got a chance to be a part of an English class that enhanced my interest in English literature. It was because the class was held to help students think creatively and critically which it one of the most memorable English classes of my life.

The class was all about helping the students understand the basics of creative and critical thinking which was followed by a task of writing an article on one of our preferred topics. Before assigning us the task, the teacher took a brainstorming session to help us refresh the concepts of writing creatively which were covered in earlier sessions. It was also followed by the importance of knowing why creative and critical thinking is important. 

The class was held when I was in junior school. It was the occasion of Independence Day and there was a creative writing competition to be held. The class took place just before the competition and helped me to excel in the competition attaining the first position.

One of the most interesting part that took place before the competition and during the class was the brainstorming sessions. The teacher amazingly took us through the concepts of creative writing and helped students gain motivation to help them confidently create sentences in the competition.
