Arts and Science courses (both UG and PG) generally require students to appear for entrance tests conducted by the respective departments of the university, which are then combined with marks from previous qualifying exams. For MBA, the Institute of Business Management under JU accepts CAT, MAT, XAT, JEMAT, ATMA, or CMAT scores followed by an interview. Doctoral admissions typically require UGC-NET, GATE, or a university-conducted written test and viva.
