The placement process at SVNIT Surat is systematic and well thought out by the Career Development Cell (CDC). Early in the academic year, the CDC coordinates outreach to companies, manages the process of inviting companies for pre-placement talks, scheduling written tests, interviews, and internships, all to conduct placements with the goal to maximize student preparation with realized engagement from the industry.

• Invitation to previous & new recruiters (June-July). 

• Companies provide profiles & The companies are scheduled based on the merit list of students. 

• On-campus, pre-placement talks; written tests and interviews. 

• B.Tech (summer) & M.Tech (dissertation year) students will typically have to go through an internship.
