NIT Delhi Placement Procedure

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi has placed sensible thought into the placement process with the aim of developing fair and professional recruitment practice experience.

The process starts with companies providing job notifications, connecting to the Career Services portal, and implementing selection phases as they choose such as tests or interviews.

Scheduling is conducted fairly and clearly through the placement office who use best efforts to inform students about recruitment timelines and opportunities based on their own schedules and career paths.

Placement Process:

1. Employers use the Career Services portal to enter a Job Notification Form (JNF).
2. Placement office sends out invitations and companies register on the portal if they wish to recruit students.
3. Asking companies to conduct necessary pre-selection activities (i.e., tests, assignments).
4. The JNF is frozen; specifics are posted on the student portal (students can view and apply).
5. Companies shortlist students based on review of CV, test results (if applicable) or group discussions
6. The campus interview schedules are finalized to accommodate student and company preferences.
7. The final list of selected students will be published as soon as possible after the interviews (likely the same day).
