NIT Uttarakhand Placement Procedure

The placement process at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Uttarakhand is coordinated through the Career Counselling & Placement (C2P) Cell. Throughout the placement process, students are provided with smooth assistance from the first step of resume collection to the last step of "onboarding to the organization."  

This structured process enables students and the recruiting organization to maintain clarity and stay organized as candidates move through the following steps of the interview process - pre-placement talk, aptitude test, group discussion, and individual interviews within the campus. 

This is a step-by-step break down of the process: 

  • Pre-placement talk and introductions of the recruiters. 
  • Resume collection/presentation to the recruiter and the recruiting organization (mediated through C2P) to shortlist candidates. 
  • Aptitude tests and assessments will take place in the computer labs. 
  • Group discussions and interviews will take place in the conference rooms (rooms previously booked by C2P). 
  • Student Placement Representatives (SPRs) will support the candidates throughout the placement process. 
  • On-campus - campus interview support is available if needed, utilizing the auditorium and video-conferencing arrangements.
