The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur has a simple and efficient placement process. Employers are guided through a sequence of steps, from the invitation to onboarding, while students are allowed to engage through an efficient structured process primarily based on eligibility more than preference; transparency in this case provides organizations and candidates with a straightforward, orderly recruitment ecosystem under the structured coordination of the Institute Placement Office. 

Placement Process: 

• The Placement Office forwards formal invitations to companies/organizations with the necessary information.  

• Companies complete a Job Announcement Form (JAF) containing job details and if there is an offer, the offer details. 

• Companies can make a request for pre-placement talks (PPT) and suggest dates. 

• The JAF is published or posted online for students who are eligible, with information about the company. 

• Students who are interested, sign the JAF online, and companies access verified CVs via their placement account.  

• The Placement Office confirms recruitment dates with companies considering which job the students preferred and companies intended to hire.  

• Companies arrange for aptitude tests/interviews on campus, in accordance with their process.  

• Names of final selected candidates are to be submitted to the Placement Office in a sealed envelope; a waitlist is also kept.  

• The Placement Office will arrange for students to sign offer letters and to ensure that they are sent to the companies on a timely basis.
