Benefit:

Education Future is the provider of this scholarship, which has a partial funding value of between INR 2 lakhs and INR 10 lakhs.

Eligibility:

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen and hold a current Indian passport.
• A minimum of 60% should have been earned by the applicant in the 10th and 12th grades.
• Offered to deserving Indian students to study abroad at any of the world's best colleges including the University of Northern British Columbia.
• It is important for applicants to acknowledge that they are unable to pay for their own studies overseas. The applicant should therefore intend to use an education loan to cover at least 50% of his expenses.

2. Higher Education Scholarship Test for Indian Students HEST 2024

Bachelor's, master's, diploma, and MBA degrees in any subject area are eligible for this grant; MBBS and medicine are not. The application submission deadline is always open. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, India, is offering this scholarship. Each recipient may receive up to 3 lac in funding, which is considered partial funding.

Benefit:

• A financial scholarship incentive of up to 3 lakh Rupees per student will be given to the winners.

Eligibility:

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen and hold a current Indian passport.
• Candidates must have received at least a 55% in their 10th and 12th grades.
• For now, the applicant DOES NOT NEED to present the confirmation of their admission to a foreign university. It can be turned in at a later time to still receive the scholarship money.

University of Prince Edward Island Scholarship for International Students

1) International Entrance Award Cycle:

International students who enroll at UPEI from high schools in Canada or other nations are annually given entrance grants, which are supported by the University of Prince Edward Island. 

Benefits:

•  The award amounts range from $1,000 to $3,000. 

Eligibility:

• Must possess a current study permit for Canada;
• Exhibit outstanding academic achievement in high school, placing in the top 5% to 10% of their class and/or having converted averages between 90% and 100% (or an equivalent GPA);

These scholarships have been made possible by the estate of C. Jean (Ross) MacKay, a volunteer, mother, nurse, and ardent supporter of higher education.

Benefit:

• The maximum amount that will be awarded to an international student is $685.00. 

Eligibility:

• Awarded to incoming nursing students who want to do an overseas study abroad program as part of their UPEI curriculum. 
• Students who have planned their own international learning experiences and exhibit qualities indicative of future professionalism—such as integrity, stability, empathy, and commitment—will be given preference.

1. "From VK to C in 50" Scholarship:

An anonymous donor has established the "From VK to C in 50" scholarships in honor of the recipient's 50 years in Canada. He came to the country as a refugee, took advantage of the educational system here, and in his professional life, he became a world-class nation builder. In retirement, he is turning to philanthropy and, to commemorate this momentous milestone and to express his gratitude to Canada for all of the possibilities it has given him, he is providing scholarships in every province and territory.

Benefit:

• The maximum amount that will be provided to a graduate student is $2,000

Eligibility:

• Given to a full-time student starting at UPEI who satisfies the requirements for admission to their first year of study, is enrolled in an undergraduate program or an articulated program (College + University), and has proven to be in need of financial assistance. 
• Canadian citizens and permanent residents will be given preference.

2. Adam and Sonya Balderston Awards

Adam and Sonya Balderston are kind donors to several charitable organizations and have a strong desire to improve our town. They have been contributing to UPEI since 2003 because they believe that promoting education has great benefits. Their $15,000 commitment will ensure that UPEI can continue to expand its important work by contributing $3,000 annually to the annual fund, and it will create two new $3,000 student awards each year, providing educational opportunities for future students. Their gift is pledged over five consecutive years with $3,000 annual installments.

Benefit:

• The maximum award that will be awarded to a graduate student is $1,000

Eligibility:

• A returning student in their first undergraduate program who is enrolled in the Faculty of Business program and has the greatest financial need will receive a $1,000 reward. 
• A second $1,000 award will be given to a returning student enrolled in their first undergraduate program, providing the greatest financial need, in a health sciences program (e.g., nursing, paramedicine, foods and nutrition, kinesiology, etc.).

The University of Prince Edward Island was founded by Alexander Bradshaw Campbell, who is credited with several accomplishments. The UPEI Scholarship Committee on Scholarships and Awards chooses the recipients of the undergraduate scholarship.

• Every year, this award is given to students who are starting their first undergraduate program at UPEI. 
• These students must be in need of financial assistance, have completed their high school education in Prince Edward Island with honors, and show great academic promise. 

2. Applied Human Sciences Equitable and Inclusive Access Award

Dr. Katherine Gottschall-Pass, a professor at the University of Prince Edward Island's Applied Human Sciences department, developed this award. Students at AHS who are interested in promoting fairness and equitable access to food and/or physical exercise will be recognized with this award.

Benefit: 

• The maximum award that will be awarded to an undergraduate student is $1,000

Eligibility:

• Awarded to a full-time undergraduate scholar who has exhibited a measurable commitment to guaranteeing fair and comprehensive access to food and/or exercise. 
• A student enrolled in the Kinesiology or Foods and Nutrition programs will be given preference. 
• In their personal statement, applicants must explain how they meet the requirements for this award.
