The admission for UG, PG, and PhD is based on the national entrance examination, where the students need to meet the NIT Sikkim cutoff. Yes, you may get NITSKM admission in M.Tech without a GATE score with some exceptions. For instance, some sponsored candidates are eligible to get into NIT M.Tech without appearing for GATE.
