Latest Update: The NIT Goa has released the notification for the commencement of classes for 1st semester B.Tech. students for the academic year 2025-06, that will begin from 1t September 2025.

National Institute of Technology Goa, or NIT Goa, is an autonomous institute functioning under the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, and has been declared an “Institute of National Importance”.

With the motto “True Knowledge Liberates” the institute has around 1000 students across several departments and disciplines. It offers admission to a variety of courses and disciplines, including B.Tech., M.Tech and PhD programs.

Admission Process Overview (UG + PG + PhD)

The admission for UG, PG, and PhD in NIT Goa is based on the national entrance examination. The process might be similar, but the examination conducting bodies are different. Now, let us look at the NITG Admission Procedure.
