National Institute of Technology Goa, or NIT Goa, is an autonomous institute functioning under the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, and has been declared an “Institute of National Importance”.

If you want to get admission in NIT Goa, you need to clear national-level entrance examinations like JEE Main, GATE, NET, depending on the course you want to pursue. After clearing the required cutoff, enroll in the centralized counselling body like JoSAA and and CCMT.  

2. Can I get admission in NIT Goa without JEE?

For UG, you cannot join NIT Goa without clearing the IIT-JEE. Although for Master’s and PhD programs, JEE is not required, a candidate should clear other exams and interviews for the NIT Goa course.
