Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT Bhopal) was established in 1960 as Maulana Azad College of Technology. It is a top public technical university in Madhya Pradesh. Named after India’s first Education Minister, MANIT became a National Institute of Technology in 2002 and was recognized as an Institute of National Importance in 2007.
