The most successful Indian companies like Amazon, Infosys, L&T, MathWorks, Graviton Trading, Mediatek, Indian Express partners, and overseas recruiters (Accenture Japan, Money Forward Japan). The students had the highest package of ₹53 LPA and an average of ₹15.5 LPA, showing industry confidence in IIT Jammu. 

IIT Jammu also had up-and-coming alumni from a growing support base of over 2,300 alumni, placed with leading tech companies and financial institutions (Amazon, Qualcomm, ICICI Bank, HCL Tech, HDFC Bank, and Nvidia), another example of the new institution's growing legacy of success and professionalism.

IIT Jammu has shown itself to be a suitable place for those seeking a future in engineering and technology, with a vibrant placement ecosystem that supports career development. The Career Development and Corporate Relations team at IIT Jammu works closely with the leading national and international recruiters, enabling students to gain exposure to a wide array of roles in different industries.

IIT Jammu aims to facilitate an increased skill set, including pre-placement training and industry collaboration, to equip graduates to perform well in competitive professional fields. The slowly growing alumni network around organizations around the world shows the institute has been effective in providing career-ready graduates, while continued developments of corporate relations prolong and endorse the reputation of its placement year over year.

IIT Jammu has a planned placement process that facilitates an effective and easy recruitment process for students and recruiters. The placement process includes a variety of pre-placement activities, company visits, pre-placement talks, aptitude tests, interviews, and the final selection process (offer rolls out). We have a long placement season at IIT Jammu, leveraging early recruiter engagement and hosting career workshops to support student placement.
