IIT Bombay has a lively and heterogeneous club culture where students can indulge their interests outside of academics. While the clubs are organized by the Institute Student Gymkhana in the technical, cultural, literary, entrepreneurship, and sports sphere, they are student-run, so they provide great opportunities for creativity, leadership, and skills development.

Technical Clubs

1. Web and Coding Club (WnCC) - This club is the biggest in terms of membership. They offer mentoring in programming, development and open-source contribution.

2. Electronics & Robotics Club (ERC) - This club mainly focuses on robotics enthusiasts and aims to encourage, innovate and compete in national contests.

3. Aeromodelling Club - This club revolves around aircraft design, drone building, and flight simulations.

4. IIT Bombay Racing - This club develops and designs Formula style electric racecars that compete in racing competitions organized by Formula Student competitions globally.

5. AUV-IITB (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) - This club designs and builds self-propelled robotic submarines to compete globally.

1. Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) - This organization promotes innovation and startups, through it’s flagship events such as E-Summit and Eureka! Event, Asia’s largest business model competition.
