upGrad gave me a new perspective on business

I always felt there was something missing to break into the senior management. While experience counts, constant learning is what can take you places. Like in earlier days either you could study or work, and I chose to work. Then came upGrad where I neither had to resign nor I had to travel abroad for years and invest heavily to get an MBA coupled with an industry relevant MBA Syllabus. I just wish we had upGrad available 10 Yrs ago. Post joining the IMT LBS MBA course my overall perspective about business changed. Thank You upGrad for helping people like us to fulfill their long lost dreams. Like Michelangelo had once famously said, "Ancora Imparo - Yet, I'm learning", I will also take up Phd. and never stop my learning.

Someone said, "age is merely a number". I thought let's put it to practice. When the world was reeling under COVID, I stumbled upon hope. The opportunity to enhance life's understanding came from upGrad Liverpool Business School’s online MBA Course. It came at the right time. Respite from the despair we all experienced. The merit award is merely a positive manifestation of the hope I clung to. And I sincerely wish that many professionals in their journey decide to benefit from the wonderful learning platform. upGrad gave me an opportunity to take my learning goal a notch up

Constant learning and upskilling myself has always been a passion. Covid along with its challenges presented an opportunity for me to take my learning goal a notch up. With the passion to pursue masters in business administration, I took the opportunity & enrolled myself in the LJMU MBA course through upGrad. The path was not easy - I was juggling between my job , family responsibilities and learning goals. However, with God's grace, support of my family, mentors support and my grit and strong determination to give my best I have accomplished this major milestone - masters in business administration from Liverpool Business School. I'm thankful to my coach Coach Gaurika Jain (ACC-ICF) for the constant support and my mentors. I take this opportunity to express my great thanks to my husband who encouraged and had always been my source of strength and inspiration. #LBSGraduate #MBA

One of my favorite quotes is “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” — Nelson Mandela From a hesitant and lazy mind for starting something to a powerful mind that is action-oriented by developing atomic habits of change, it was definitely a challenging one. Thanks, James Clear, your book transformed me a lot. I decided to pursue an online MBA Course from Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool Business School during the start of the Pandemic. Being a full-time IT Professional was not an easy journey. Bumpy roads, multiple issues to address, and reading research papers that seem like boring activities, convincing family members why I am not there for them was all too painful, but as they say, there is no gain without pain. In the end, the result was so fruitful. With the blessing from God and all my loved ones (friends and family included), finally, the goal is achieved. Special thanks to my mentor Dr. Smitha Girija for guiding and driving me to get things done, I am sure I would have slacked off if not for her not encouraging me to stick to the timelines.
