The Central University of Hyderabad is a premier institution spread across 2500 acres. Along with numerous amounts of academic departments, specifically, 42 departments under 12 Schools with 13 Research Centers. The university is also home to various species of flora and Fauna. It was established by an Act of Parliament in 1974. As a significant contributor to the nation’s knowledge economy, it offers enhanced knowledge services in diverse fields to produce global quality research, teaching and learning outcomes.  

These services and outcomes underscore the commitment to innovation, the integration of methods and fields of inquiry, and are geared towards strong public engagement and social impact. Located in Gachibowli, just 7km away from HITEC City of Hyderabad, the location offers increased chances of collaboration with corporates, which provides the students with exposure to industrial practices and gives them real-world knowledge.

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana 

The campus is expansive, divided into three parts: North, South, and East, featuring 11 men's hostels, 10 women's hostels, and a facility for international students. It is situated within the green belt of Hyderabad, allowing students to frequently observe various species of turtles, birds, deer, snakes, and more. The campus also includes four lakes, which are popular spots for camping and late-night gatherings.  

Additionally, there are notable rock formations, such as Mushroom Rocks and High Rocks, that contribute to a lively atmosphere and provide a memorable experience for students. One of the most important facilities at the University of Hyderabad is its incredible IGM (Indira Gandhi Memorial) Library.
