Admission Overview

Latest Update - Admissions for the academic session for July 2025- June 2026 have commenced, and students can apply for the same.

The university campus is over about 70 acres. The University has planned infrastructure, which would include an administrative building, examination building, academic building, library building, bank, canteen, furnished hostel and guest house, officers' buildings, and teaching and non-teaching accommodations. There are three helipads for guests arriving by helicopter.

Scholarships

PSSOU provides scholarships designed to assist students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. 

Pt. Sundarlal Sharma (Open) University Chhattisgarh (PSSOU) offers various scholarship schemes and financial aid to its students, particularly focusing on disadvantaged groups and meritorious students.

1. Chhattisgarh Government Scholarships:

  • PSSOU provides scholarships to students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories as per the norms set by the Chhattisgarh government. This typically includes Post-matric scholarships.
  • There are also provisions for Post-matric BPL (Below Poverty Line) & BBPL (Borderline Below Poverty Line) Scholarships.
  • The benefits of these scholarships are directly credited to the students' bank accounts.

2. Fee Exemption for Differently-abled Learners:

  • The university also offers fee exemptions for blind, dumb, and deaf learners (Divyang/PWD candidates) to support their education.
