National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala's placement process for 2023–24 is institutionalized systematically through the Centre for Career Development (CCD). The placement process uses multiple steps to achieve structured functionality, ranging from job notification to recruiting process, for engaged contact from the company to students. In other words, the CCD structured process outlines the communication, training, and selecting of students to maximize placement opportunities.  

 Procedure contains the following highlights: 

• Job Notification Form (JNF) for recruited companies to notify hiring information.  

• Screening of job opportunities and coordination through CCD. 

• Organized Preplacement talks (PPT) and technical training/soft skill training. 

• Candidate profile submission and short-listing process. 

• Written tests, group discussions, and interviews conducted on campus or hybrid pretence. 

• Offer roll-out, documentation, and acceptance of offer.
