The Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur (IIIT Bhagalpur) began its first academic session on August 1, 2017, and now operates from its permanent campus in Sabour, located on 50 acres along the banks of the Ganga. IIIT Bhagalpur started with B.Tech programs in Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering, enrolling 73 students. Today, it offers four B.Tech courses: Computer Science and Engineering (150 seats), Electronics and Communication Engineering (75 seats), Mathematics and Computing (27 seats), and Mechatronics and Automation (60 seats).
