Software Development Bootcamp (Java)

The Java Software Development Program is a blended-learning program, which combines 226 hours of on-demand learning with over 78 hours of live training led by industry experts. This program also comes with 2 mini-projects with which you can practice what you have learned, 34 hours of doubt-clearing sessions, 3 mock interviews, 300+ practice MCQs, 150+ practice coding questions, and much more.

The program is ideal for the following segments:

• Pre-final/final-year B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA / MCA students
• Graduates with up to 2 years of work experience
• Non-CS background learners with basic computer knowledge and passion for coding
• Aspirants targeting job roles like Java Developer, Backend Engineer, SDE-1, Full Stack Developer

The program has five modules with three core modules and two optional modules:

1. Fundamentals of programming
2. Data structures and algorithms
3. DBMS with SQL
4. Generative AI foundations (Optional)
5. Software design concepts (Optional)

The program also has over 226 hours of self-paced content, with projects, assessments, mock interviews, and more.

You will work on two projects that are designed to test your skills and your ability to apply the concepts you learned. You will work on realistic products with real features designed to work in the real world.

You will receive three certificates on completing this program:

• Generative AI Foundations Certificate (from upGrad, in collaboration with Microsoft)
• NSDC Certificate (from NSDC)
• Program Completion Certificate (from upGrad)

You should expect to spend about 20 hours per week, if you are doing our blended model with both live-training and self-paced learning modules. If you are doing the program in a self-paced format alone, then you could complete the course by spending around 8 hours per week.
