The Training & Placement (T&P) Cell at IIIT Bhagalpur serves a critical role in bridging the equation between training and placement. Under the guidance of IIT Guwahati, the institute has previously developed. Since 2017, and currently serving nearly 1000 students by 2025, establishing an educational ecosystem.  

The T&P Cell supports students through customized mentoring programs, new skill development programs, and structured placement readiness programs. The current placement drive for 2025 is ongoing, with 201 on-campus students offers yielding a coveted top package of INR 83 LPA, an average of INR 10.35 LPA, and a median of INR 9 LPA.   1. Students apply for recruitment openings and pre-placement talks outline company expectations. 
  1. Resumes are accepted, shortlisted candidates are identified, and candidates are scheduled for interviews from the company's released schedule. 
  1. Companies conduct on-campus and/or online interviews, tests or group discussions according to their finalized schedule. 
  1. Companies send selection confirmations and job offer letters to the Placement Cell on the day of the interview or soon after. 
  1. Once a candidate accepts an offer, they will not be given the option to continue with further campus interviews.
