Latest Update: The interviews for the e-Master’s applicants in NIT Warangal are scheduled to take place on September 15-17, 2025. The online reporting and payment of the fee will be on 22nd- 23rd September 2025.

NIT Warangal course admission is done in a similar manner to the IITs through national-level entrance examinations like JEE Mains, Advanced, GATE, CAT, to different courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, PhD, Management courses, and so on.

Admission Process Overview (UG + PG + PhD)

The NIT Warangal course admissions for both UG and PG are based on the national entrance examination. The process might be similar, but the examination conducting bodies are different. Now, let us look at the NIT Warangal Overview of the Admission Process.

  1. Register for relevant entrance exams- 

UG: Register for JEE Main and appear for JEE Main. 
PG (M.Tech): Register for GATE 
PhD: Appear for GATE/NET/GRE/JEST or NIT Warangal internal written test.  

  1. Appear for the entrance test- Candidates need to appear for the test to test their knowledge and efficiency, and qualify for the exam 
  1. Check eligibility and cutoff scores- Check the scorecard and cutoff scores required for the NIT Warangal course admissions.  
  1. Apply via institute or centralized portals- Apply to your desired institute through portals like JoSAA, NIMCET, CCMN, etc. 
  1. Department-level Screening /Interview (if applicable)- Appear for Departmental Screening or Interviews for some PG and PhD courses.  
  1. Receive admissions offer- Selected candidates will receive a Provisional Admission Offer.  
  1. Payment of Fees- To confirm your seat, make the required payment online for the NIT Warangal course admissions.
