The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kalyani is a new-age IIIT established in the PPP model and committed to excellence in education and research. In total, 132 of 144 registered students received offers healthy mix of on-campus and off-campus placements indicative of an excellent university-industry connect and growth in placements activity.

IIIT Kalyani's Training & Placement Cell promotes a transparent, responsive and industry informed placement process. Students receive intensive preparation in technical academic programs, as well as soft-skills training, coding contests, and full-semester internships that allow employers to easily assess talent, and facilitate seamless recruitment experience. 

Key steps in Placement Process: 

1. The T&P Cell provides invitations for Pre-Placement Talks and campus drives and sends them out to recruiters. 

2. Companies provide Job Announcement Form (JAF) with vacancies and role descriptions. 

3. The Placement Cell plans the interview and when on-campus or off-campus hiring will take place. 

4. Students sign up on the JAF to apply for a company's recruitment process.
