Indian Institute of Information Technology, IIIT Vadodara, focuses on applied learning and research in selected IT fields to meet the growing needs of industry and the economy. The Institute offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, and PhD programs. In 2020, the institute expanded with its International Campus at Diu (IIITV-ICD), developed in collaboration with the Government of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. Students graduating from both campuses are awarded degrees by IIIT Vadodara.

Campus, Hostel & Student Life

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat 

IIIT Vadodara currently operates from its temporary campus at Government Engineering College (Gandhinagar) and is building its new permanent campus with modern classrooms, labs, student hostels, and recreational areas. The institute also has another campus. IIIT Vadodara – International Campus Diu (IIITV-ICD) is a branch of IIIT Vadodara. It was started in 2020 at Education Hub, Kevdi – Diu, in partnership with the Government of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. Students here will get their degrees from IIIT Vadodara. 

Hostels at IIIT Vadodara 

  • Hostel 1 (Geeta Residency 1, Gandhinagar) has 282 seats and accommodates all 1st and 2nd year UG students. 
  • Hostel 2 (Geeta Residency 5 & Chiloda Greens, Gujarat) has 378 seats, allotted to other institute students based on priority.
