Babasaheb Ambedkar University has achieved a rank of 3 in the NIRF Rankings 2024 for the category of Open Universities. NIRF has introduced this category for the first time in 2024, and BAOU became one of the three universities that achieved ranks in the category, which proves the institute’s dedication and commitment to providing education across the state.

• Swadhyay Radio: BAOU is the first State Open University in India, which is offering an Internet-enabled Swadhyay Radio, a powerful and highly creative resource of learning for the students.
• Swadhyay TV: High definition Television and Internet Radio station at their University. This project aims to establish a state-of-the-art HDTV and sound recording studio with post-production facilities.

Vivekananda Library:

• Includes over 73,000 books.
• Covers subjects like literature, social sciences, management, education, etc.
• Offers OPAC access via SOUL 3.0 for real-time book search.
• Provides 180,000+ e-books, 4,000+ journals via J-GATE, JSTOR, CMIE, SPSS, e-ShodhSindhu.
• Supports visually impaired users via Sugamya Pustakalaya, Kibo XS, and DELNET membership.
• Organises the Pustak Parab book exchange program.
• Open Monday to Saturday, 10:40 AM to 6:10 PM.
