UPRTOU Admissions

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University conducts admissions in online mode for all of its programs. Admissions to Undergraduate programs are done on a merit basis, except for programs like B.Ed. The institute conducts an entrance examination for admission to B.Ed. and Special B.Ed.

Candidates are required to achieve at least 40% in the Entrance exam to qualify for admission to these programs. The last date to submit the documents for the 2025-26 session is 5th August 2025. The University has two portals for admission first one being the Samarth e-Gov portal, through which candidates can take admission to various UG, PG, Diploma, certificate, and PhD courses.

Another One is GCAS (Gujarat Common Admission Services). Candidates seeking admission to B.Ed programs need to register at GCAS.
