Uttarakhand Open University (UOU), formed by the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly on 31 October 2005. It is a state-open university in Haldwani, Nainital, spread across about 101,171 sqm (25 acres) of campus area, including administrative and academic blocks, a digital library, and video labs.
