Chandigarh University's Online Degree Programs are designed and delivered as per the University Grants Regulations, 2020. As per these regulations, institutions with a NAAC rating of 3.26 and above are pre-approved to launch online degree programs.

Chandigarh University has a NAAC rating of 3.28. Our University Partners have reviewed the content and pedagogy and post that provided approval for students who complete year 2 with Chandigarh University successfully to be eligible to join 3rd year at their Northern Arizona University campus.

Yes, you can join this program without an IELTS/TOFEL/PTE score & upGrad will help you prepare for the English Entrance test to establish your current English proficiency to be eligible for the B.Sc Computer Science or Applied Computer Science program in the US.

Conditional offer letters will be issued to you by Northern Arizona University Partners based on documents submitted by upGrad. These documents will be academic transcripts of Class 12, work experience certificate and KYC documents. A conditional offer letter is an offer letter that will be converted into a confirmed offer once students meet the conditions mentioned in the conditional offer letter. These conditions will be English proficiency conditions, successful completion of course at Chandigarh University and any other condition which university deems fit.

To study at Northern Arizona University, you will have to meet university English Proficiency Requirements. Initially, we will apply on your behalf for a conditional offer letter to universities where IELTS/TOFEL/PTE scores will not be required. upGrad will prepare you to meet these English proficiency requirements through the specific study material.

Yes, you can apply and block your seat for the program in case you have given exams in the 2021 academic year for class 12 and have not yet received a marksheet. You can block your seat by paying INR 25,000. The rest of the fees will be payable once you receive the mark sheet. You need to score a minimum of 50% marks to be eligible for the course. In case you do not score 50%, you can request a refund of your block payment as per the refund policy.

2. Based on the confirmation of eligibility, a provisional offer letter will be rolled out. 
3. Student needs to pay required fees to upGrad.com
4. Once fees is received and students submit documents, they will receive ID cards from Chandigarh University.

At Northern Arizona University, Arizona you will have the option to pursue either of the following two courses-

1. Bachelor of Science, Computer Science
2. Bachelor of Science, Applied Computer Science

Yes, all the NAU courses are recognized and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the United States. Additionally, B.Sc Computer Science is ABET-accredited. 

Yes, upGrad will help you prepare for the English Entrance test to establish your current English proficiency to be eligible for the Bachelor’s program in the US.

NAU provides a $10,000 international excellence award scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship, students would have to meet the 3.0 GPA (~70% marks) criteria as well as English language requirements. This scholarship is first come first served, and upGrad will help you in applying for the same on priority.

For the transfer to NAU, students have to score CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 (equivalent to 60% at Chandigarh University) at the end of 2 years of their course.

NAU has a career development center where you will get help in regard to career services such as resume review, mock interviews, etc. Also, this career development center also organizes career fairs where company officials visit campuses and interact with the students. Outside of the centralized career development center, individual programs have their own specialized career services professionals who help students with internships and similar experiential learning opportunities.

Once you enroll in the Bachelors Program with upGrad and provide all the required documents, upGrad will submit applications to university partners on your behalf. University partners will release a conditional offer letter within one month of application submission. 

This is a highly unlikely scenario. But in case you are not able to get a conditional offer letter despite providing all the documents, your fees will be refunded. In case you wish to continue with a Bachelor's degree program with Chandigarh University and acquire the online degree, only articulation fees will be refunded.

US OPT visas are available to all the students who have completed at least 1 academic year on a US campus. As you are studying a STEM course, you will be eligible to apply for upto 3 years of OPT after completing your course.

The living expenses in the US for international students are USD 15,199 (INR 11,00,000).

As you will be studying in the Chandigarh University program, you will be able to successfully complete the course through Chandigarh University in case you are not able to secure a US Visa.

According to the American students' visa guidelines, you are allowed to work only 20 hours a week and can work only on campus. Students can work up to 20 hours a week when classes are in session and up to 40 hours a week while the classes are not going on.

 Initially, you need to deposit INR 25,000 as a block amount for seat booking. 15 days before the start of the course and once you have the Class 12 marksheet available, you need to make a complete payment of the remaining amount. You can opt for no-cost EMI with our partner institutions if you want to pay in installments. 

Total fees have two components - 1. University fees and 2. articulation fees. Articulation fees need to be paid together at once. You can avail of a 0% EMI option with a monthly installment and a down payment of ₹25000 to block your seat. If you are availing of 0% credit card EMI, upGrad will not charge any processing fees or down payment for these transactions. Your bank may levy GST or other taxes on the interest component of the EMI. University fees can be paid in 2 semesters.
