Do I need the GRE/GMAT or other requirements for France?

GRE or GMAT scores are not mandatory for most French universities. However, top business schools offering competitive programs might require them. You may also need English tests like IELTS or TOEFL, or French tests like TCF or DELF, depending on the language of instruction.

How much can I work and earn/hour in France for part-time?

International students in France can work up to 964 hours per year, which averages about 20 hours per week during the academic year. The minimum wage is €11.65 per hour (1050 INR) before taxes. Your actual earnings may vary depending on the job and employer.


Are there any specific visa requirements for France?

Yes, Indian students need a long-stay student visa (VLS-TS) to study in France for over 90 days. You must show admission proof, funds of at least €7,380/year (approx. 6,65,000 INR), valid passport, accommodation proof, and medical insurance. The visa also requires Campus France authorization.


Is French language required for part-time work in France?

French is not always required for part-time jobs in France, but it improves your chances of landing a good part-time opportunity. However, in major cities, English-speaking students can comfortably find jobs in international businesses, hospitality, tourism or retail.

Is the Campus France authorization certificate mandatory ?

Yes, the Campus France authorization certificate is mandatory for Indian students applying to French institutions. It is part of the official “CEF procedure” and is required before booking a visa appointment through VFS. You must complete your Campus France application and pay the processing fee to secure the certificate.
