I have really loved how the program was so easily connected to the work I was doing in admissions at a small non-profit organization. I have taken a variety of courses that have dealt with changes in supervision and leadership at a time where my organization was going through those exact changes. There were moments in my career where I didn’t keep my textbook too far from me because that same scenario was happening - it was a textbook scenario. It was very exciting to talk to my professor about those very changes and then be able to incorporate that into an assignment, and then talk about it with classmates with firsthand experience.
